These terms govern your use of the FlipsideUS platform. By signing up or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
FlipsideUS provides a hosted platform and done-for-you setup so a business can operate online — website, online ordering, bookings, payments, point-of-sale, and related tools. Features included depend on your plan.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for the content you publish (menu, services, images, prices), for keeping your login credentials secure, and for the activity of the staff logins you create. You must have the rights to any content and branding you upload.
Acceptable use
Don't use the platform for anything unlawful, to sell prohibited goods or services, to send unsolicited messages in violation of applicable law, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service or other businesses' data.
Payments & billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and continue until cancelled. There is no long-term contract — you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. If a payment fails, we may suspend the service after a short grace period. Customer payments you accept through the platform are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) and are subject to their terms; payouts and processing fees are handled by the provider.
Optional hardware
If you add the optional on-site backup device, the one-time setup fee and monthly add-on apply as described at purchase. The device remains part of the managed service.
Your data
You own your business and customer data. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export it, and on cancellation we make it available for a reasonable period before deletion.
Availability & support
We work to keep the service reliable and provide support, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance and updates are handled for you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FlipsideUS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms or the service; material changes will be communicated. Either party may terminate as described above. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
